San Agustin and Leon Guerrero said the government wants to analyze the clusters and make sure they do not lead to more community spread.  The governor had previously said she would ease travel quarantine restrictions, starting May 1, if the island reached its goal of vaccinating 50% of the adult population. The path to half set a target of fully immunizing 62,500 people, based on estimates of a total adult population of around 125,000.  Public Health Medical Director Dr. Felix Cabrera said 64,047 people, or 51% of the adult population, have been fully vaccinated. That includes those vaccinated through the local government, the Department of Defense and the National Guard. Another 79,907 have received at least the first dose, putting the total number of individuals to receive some form of immunization at 125,589.

Thirteen months into the coronavirus pandemic, a weary public is wondering what’s next. Is another wave of COVID-19 coming? Can the vaccination campaign keep it at bay? Where is the illness now spreading? When will herd immunity be reached? Recently, there have been both positive and troubling developments. Most significantly, on Tuesday, April 13, Ohio officials heeded the recommendation of the CDC and the FDA and halted use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the state, after six nationally reported cases of severe blood clots, including one death, were linked to the vaccine. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine addressed the issue at a briefing April 13. Twenty-three travelers in Washington state being monitored for possible Ebola infection

https://www.afinalwarning.com/507690.html (Natural News) Health authorities in the state of Washington are now observing 23 people for the Ebola virus. The 23 travelers are from the West African countries of Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where there are current outbreaks of the disease. However, state health officials are reassuring Washington residents that there is a “very low” risk of contracting Ebola on American soil. The Washington State Department of Health (Washington DOH) said in a March 25 statement that the 23 people will be monitored for roughly 21 days after they arrive in the U.S. “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued an order requiring airlines to collect … contact information for passengers who were in [the two West African countries],” it added.
