Picture used for representational purpose only GUWAHATI: Citizens of the state aged over 60, or those above 45 having co-morbidities, will start receiving Covid vaccines at seven government medical colleges in Assam, along with six private hospitals in Guwahati, on Monday. Health officials said all such citizens are eligible to register themselves on the Co-WIN portal and step in the session sites to get vaccinated. While 20 people will ceremoniously receive the jabs in each medical college on Day 1 of the third phase of the Covid vaccination, this phase of the vaccination drive will be the most challenging for the state government, officials said, adding that over 90 lakh people, estimated to be aged 50 years and above, will receive shots during this phase.
