The first vaccination of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca at National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, Hanoi
In the first round of COVID-19 vaccination using Vaccine AstraZeneca, 377 health professionals in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and the northern province of Hai Duong were injected.
Specifically, in Hanoi, at National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Dong An district, 66 health staff were vaccinated. As planned, in the first stage, the hospital gets 450 doses of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca out of the countryâs total allocated 117,600 doses.
In Hai Duong â the current epicentre of the pandemic â 207 health staff were administered the drug. As decided by the Ministry of Health, the province will receive 33,000 doses of the vaccine, the largest amount in the country this time.

February 19, raising the
country’s tally to 2,362, according to the National Steering Committee for
COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Among the new infections, 13 are F1
cases who had been already quarantined, one was detected in a locked-down
area, and the other discovered through screening check-ups in a hospital.
