A rapist who pounced on a girl while she walking home from school with AirPods in before dragging her into the woods and sexually assaulting her is jailed for 12 years.
Dean Lockley, 30, targeted the 14-year-old as she walked home from school along the Loop Line in Aintree, near Orrell Park, Liverpool at around 4pm on September 21 last year.
The father-of-one dragged the teenager into the woods and gagged her with her own socks before he sexually assaulted her then claimed that he was sorry .
Lockley, of no fixed address, said he was too ashamed to attend his sentencing because he didn t want to listen to his horrific crimes laid bare.

A MAN found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl walking near a train station has been jailed for 12 years. Dean Lockley, aged 30 and of no fixed aaddress, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with five years extended on licence, at Liverpool Crown Court today Friday, January 8. He had pleaded guilty to false imprisonment, sexual assault, and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was also ordered to sign on the Sex Offenders Register for life. At around 4.30pm on Monday, September 21 2020, the 14-year-old victim was walking along the loop line off Helsby Road, Orrell Park, when she was grabbed by a man who dragged her into bushes.
