Wellington crash: Father of two boys killed pays emotional visit to crash scene

08:29 EDT, 6 January 2021 137 shares The devastated dad of two young boys allegedly mowed down by an out-of-control, un-licensed driver, has made an emotional visit to the scene of the crash. Jacob Dunn, 25, allegedly performed burnouts in a Holden sedan he was not licensed to drive, before losing control and ploughing into a group of five.  Sheldon, 6, and Shane Shorey, 7, were killed instantly while walking home in Wellington, near Dubbo, from the local pool on Wednesday. Their mother Shayleen Frail, 34, was trapped up against a fence by the Holden, while a 10-year-old family friend had his leg ripped apart by the force of the terrible crash.

00:32 EDT, 6 January 2021 9.3k shares An unlicensed driver behind the wheel of an out-of-control car that killed two boys in country New South Wales was allegedly seen driving erratically just seconds before the crash. Jacob Donn, 25, allegedly fled the scene of a crash on Warne Street at Wellington, in central western NSW, after he lost control of his Holden sedan and ploughed into a mother, her three boys and a family friend. Witness claim Donn was doing burnouts and donuts on the street moments beforehand.  The crash killed Sheldon, 6, and Shane Shorey, 7, instantly, while their mum Shayleen Frail, 34, and a family friend were both flown to Westmead Hospital in Sydney critical conditions.
