A 42-year-old Brookfield man is facing multiple felonies after he allegedly led law-enforcement on a pursuit in May, 2020.
Christopher Allen Wilson is accused of fleeing from a Brookfield police officer when the officer attempted to make a traffic stop. The pursuit ended when the vehicle Wilson was driving travelled off the roadway and overturned, ejecting Wilson. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured. Wilson and the passenger were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Wilson is charged with a Class D Felony for Assault in the Second Degree; a Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest, Detention or Stop by Fleeing – Creating A Substantial Risk Of Serious Injury/Death To Any Person; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
A 21-year-old Sedalia man is facing multiple felonies for allegedly firing a gun out of a moving vehicle in August.
On August 3, Sedalia Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of West Saline Street and Albright Court. Officers located 23-shell casings in the area. After further investigation, 21-year-old Keyshawn Flowers was identified as a possible suspect.
Flowers waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty on January 4 to a Class B Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon-Shooting from a Moving Vehicle; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $250,000 cash or surety.
