Condolences pour in for Mahila Parishad President Ayesha Khanam 429 DHAKA, Jan 02, 2021, (BSS) – Tributes and condolences continue to pour in for prominent women leader and Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) President, Valiant Freedom Fighter Ayesha Khanam, who passed away today at a city hospital at the age of 74. Immediately after her demise, people from all walks of life as well as different political parties and leaders expressed their shock and sent condolences. President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at her death, said a press release issued here. A number of cabinet members also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of the BMP President.
