KUALA LUMPUR: The Better Malaysia Foundation (BMF), formerly known as the Vincent Tan Foundation, announced yesterday the launch of a new social enterprise programme with one goal – to assist the government to address the home ownership aspirations of low-income Malaysians, namely the B40 households, through innovative and sustainable solutions.

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim (pic) has failed in his bid to quash three corruption charges he is facing pertaining to road projects in Perak and Kedah, as well as 10 charges for money laundering.
This followed High Court judge Justice Muhammad Jamil Hussin’s decision to dismiss the application on grounds that all the charges made against Abdul Azeez were not defective and based on the provisions of law.
“I find the reason given by the applicant baseless. The applicant also failed to show that the charges made against him were mala fide (malicious).
