NORMAL PEOPLE has been voted the steamiest show on telly after scooping the gong for Best Intimacy at this year s Sex on Screen Awards.
The hit BBC Three series came out on top after viewers voted for Marianne, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Connell’s (Paul Mescal) tender first time making love as their favourite saucy scene, beating Netflix’s racy regency drama Bridgerton.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – Television dominated the roster of nominees for the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which returns this May after a year-long hiatus due, at least in part, to the COVID-19 pandemic. But with the kind of crowd-pleasing, popcorn-ready films that the MTV awards show normally celebrates mostly delayed due to the pandemic, TV has taken a front seat this year.

The Boys was released on Amazon, Aya Cash found herself with a job for the show s sophomore outing. Despite the streamer not having ordered a second season, Eric Kripke and his team went around auditioning actors for the various roles involved in the future of the series. That means before the show even became a hit with fans, Cash managed to secure the role of Stormfront, a superhero Nazi born in the early 1900 s.

The Boys is very confident in its satire and criticism, the character of Stormfront is inherently controversial before even factoring in the socio-political events that took place in 2020 around the world and especially in Trump s America.
