Firefighters Save Turtles from Blaze with Tiny Oxygen Masks Twitter 0 comments There was an unfortunate shed fire at Turtle World of Medina in Medina, Ohio, recently, where several turtles died on the spot. Several other turtles, however, managed to survive thanks to a heroic team of firefighters. They not only snatched the turtles from certain death, but also administered to them oxygen; from tiny, ridiculously cute oxygen masks. Medina Fire Department  Laughing Squid reported on the event, which occurred in late February. The Medina Fire Department reported on Facebook that Turtle World’s neighbors were the first to notice fire coming from the shed. After arriving on the scene, the firefighters put out the blaze and began removing turtles.
