Demolition of Surfside, Fla. condo to take place between Sunday night and Monday morning

Miami officials have made plans to move forward with demolishing the remaining structure of the mostly collapsed Surfside condo in Florida. During a press conference on Sunday, officials announced the demolition was set to take place between 10 p.m. on Sunday and 3 a.m. on Monday.
Workers on the site have been drilling into columns of the structure, where explosive charges will be inserted to bring the building down. Officials reported search and rescue would resume operations in the matter of minutes once given the all clear. The number of deaths currently stands at 24, with 121 people still missing.
