Coronation Street fans are in bits as likeable character Seb Franklin lies fighting for life after he and his girlfriend Nina Lucas were attacked by a vile gang of bullies.

Tonight s episode (May 5) will feature harrowing scenes as Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his gang target Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) in a vile hate crime.
The episode is loosely inspired by the real-life murder of Sophie Lancaster in 2007, and has been conceived in consultation with Sophie s mother Sylvia and The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. ITV
As a result of the attack, both Nina and Seb will be rushed to the hospital with serious injuries – while Corey tries to rally Kelly, Summer, Asha and others to back up his lies to police. It draws in lots of different families and in the best tradition of
Coronation Street teen Asha Alahan has to decide where her loyalties lie next week, as her boyfriend Corey Brent becomes the prime suspect for Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin s attack.
The ITV soap has revealed that Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and Seb (Harry Visinoni) will become the targets of a hate crime this week, which is carried out by Corey Brent and his gang.
In the fallout, scheming Corey (Maximus Evans) launches a cover-up as he tries to stay out of trouble with the police.
This includes protesting his innocence to Asha (Tanisha Gorey) and asking her to give him a false alibi.
