Lily Rabe as Emma Hall
Lily Rabe is best known for her multiple roles on the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story and her lead role as Claire Bennigan on the ABC science fiction series The Whispers . Rabe is also known for her film roles in Miss Stevens (2016), No Reservations (2007) and Fractured (2019). Lily, who is also a producer, has another talent.
She studied dance for 10 years and was teaching ballet at a summer arts program in Connecticut when she was approached by the program s acting instructor, who asked her to perform a monologue in the final production. That s how the acting bug bit. Performing was clearly in the blood, with mother Jill Clayburgh an actor and her father David Rabe a playwright.

• Packer Historical Center, 112 W. Main St., Anna, is open Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. The hours will change to Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. beginning in September.
• Amos Memorial Library is currently open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons are asked to wear a face mask when entering the library and limit their visit to 30 minutes. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Patrons should expect a three to four day delay on returns due to cleaning procedures. Curbside pickup is still available during library hours.
State Inaction on Coal Plant Emissions Endangering Public Health
Denver Colorado is not in compliance with National Ambient Air Quality Standards for sulfur dioxide (SO2), a coalition of environmental groups charge. The coalition is formally asking the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to resolve the state’s non-compliance with this air quality standard within thirty days or face litigation. In June, the coalition consisting of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), the Center for Biological Diversity and five other community groups asked the State of Colorado to modify the coal power facility permits to address –

Black History Month is an opportunity to reflect on the historical contributions of Black people in the United States. Too often, however, this history focuses on Black men, sidelining Black women and diminishing their contributions.
This is true in mainstream narratives of Black nationalist movements in the United States. These narratives almost always highlight the experiences of a handful of Black nationalist men, including Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X and Louis Farrakhan.
Contrary to popular conceptions, women were also instrumental to the spread and articulation of black nationalism the political view that people of African descent constitute a separate group on the basis of their distinct culture, shared history and experiences.
