Jill Duggar celebrated her milestone 30th birthday by spending some time with two of her sisters, Jessa and Joy, but one sister was missing from their get-together.
Jill took to her Instagram stories on Thursday to announce to her 1.7 million followers that she enjoyed a “lovely belated lunch” with some of her family.
“Had a lovely belated birthday lunch with some of my fam at one of our favorite places!” Jill wrote in her IG story, tagging the restaurant, and her sisters Joy Forsyth and Jessa Seewald.

The Duggars celebrated two birthdays on Wednesday, with Jessa and Ben Seewald’s daughter Ivy Jane turning two years old, the same day that Grandma Mary Duggar would have turned 80 years old.
Jessa shared an adorable video of Ivy, who claimed she is now a “grown up,” and captioned the video, “Ivy Jane: ‘I’m two and five and a grownup.’ Haha! So much personality in this tiny human! Happy birthday, sweet girl!”
How One Family’s Chinese Immigration Story Taught Students About History
When Chatham Central history teacher Amy King taught her students about Asian American history this year, one of her students was shocked to learn America had forcibly relocated Japanese Americans in internment camps during World War II.
“He said, ‘I never knew we did that,’” King said.
King teaches Asian American history every year as part of her American history course the Chinese Exclusion Act, Executive Order 9066 and exploitation of Chinese labor to build the transcontinental railroad but this year, increased violence toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders has made the lessons even more important.

As the Spring 2021 semester comes to a close, Boise State College of Education says farewell to three faculty and welcomes four new members.
Laura Gallo and Regina Moro, Department of Counselor Education, and Julianne Wenner, Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Foundational Studies, are leaving for new faculty positions at other universities.
Amy King and Michael Russo are joining the Department of Counselor Education, and Michael Jarry-Shore and Ramey Uriarte are joining the Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Foundational Studies.

Laura Gallo, assistant professor, started at Boise State in August 2016. Gallo is joining the Counselor Education department at the University of Iowa (her alma mater) working with both master’s and doctoral students in the program.
