Deadline reports that Super Pumped had initially been in development at Showtime as a limited series since as early as 2019, and has now expanded into an anthology concept that will explore an exciting new business world story each season.

Gordon-Levitt will next appear in the half-hour comedy-drama series Mr. Corman, which he also created and directs. He first became well-known to TV audiences for his role on 3rd Rock From the Sun.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Play Uber CEO In Showtime Anthology Series
The network has plans for an anthology series about entrepreneurs and tech figures.
Showtime has announced that actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Trial of the Chicago 7) will star as Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in an upcoming biopic series about the ride-sharing app and its co-founder and first CEO. Titled Super Pumped, the series is being described as an anthology that each season will shift focus to explore a story that rocked the business world to its core and changed culture.
Based on New York Times technology correspondent Mike Isaac s 2019 book by the same name, Super Pumped is being adapted by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Billions, Rounders) and Beth Schacter (Soundtrack), but doesn t yet have a production start or release date. Gordon-Levitt is the only cast member announced so far.

Away creator Andrew Hinderaker has Demián Bichir starring in a version for US cable network Showtime.
Homeland veteran Seith Mann will direct the pilot for the drama, with Bichir starring as a father, Mark whose life, along with that of his 12-year-old daughter, was changed forever 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire. Locked in at age 12, perhaps forever, Eleanor lives a closed-in life, able to go out only at night, while her father does his best to provide her with the minimal amount of human blood she needs to stay alive.

US premium cablenet Showtime has ordered a pilot inspired by the Swedish novel and hit horror film Let the Right One In.
The series will centre on a father and his 12-year-old daughter whose lives were changed forever 10 years earlier when she was turned into a vampire.
Andrew Hinderaker will serve as showrunner, with Seith Mann attached to direct the pilot, which will be produced by Tomorrow Studios and will star Oscar nominee Demián Bichir (A Better Life).
Bichir will play a husband and father who had the perfect life until it was turned upside down by a mysterious creature who bit his daughter and then vanished into the night.
