Investigators have charged 22-year-old Bryce V. Andrews with several counts of murder and other felonies in connection with the double homicide in Godfrey on Monday. Andrews was taken into custody this (Friday) morning at a hospital in the St. Louis area. He is currently awaiting extradition to Madison County.
On Monday morning, police responded to a fire at a home on Wedgewood Drive were 67-year-old Leonard “James” Ebrey and 59-year-old Robert Andrews, both residents of the home, were found deceased. Deputy Commander of the Major Case Squad Brian Koberna says Bryce Andrews was the adopted son of Robert Andrews.

Man arrested, charged in connection to body found behind dumpster in Hilltop
Columbus police said Jesse Shields, 38, was found inside a mattress behind the dumpster and shot multiple times.

COLUMBUS, Ohio A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a body that was found behind a dumpster at an apartment complex in the Hilltop on Feb. 3, according to Columbus police.
Officers responded to Briggs Road near Wedgewood Drive just before 9 a.m. when a caller reported someone wrapped in a mattress behind the dumpster.
Columbus police identified the person found dead as 38-year-old Jesse Shields. Police said he was shot multiple times.

MADISON COUNTY, Ill The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been activated after two bodies were found inside a burned home in Madison County early Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to the 2300 block of Wedgewood Drive around 6:05 a.m. for a report of a house fire. When fire crews arrived, they found the home s front door opened. The house was full of smoke and flames were still visible inside. After putting out the fire, crews found two bodies in the house.
