Apple has today announced the brand new M1 iPad Pro with miniLED display at the highly-anticipated Spring Event. But if you already splurged on the latest model last year, you might be wondering how much of an upgrade this actually is.
The two major changes to the new iPad Pro are the miniLED screen and the breakthrough M1 chip, both of which are exciting new additions to the device.

Apple Inc. today announced a raft of new products during its “Spring Loaded” event, including a new M1-powered iMac, a new iPad Pro, a new Apple TV and AirTags.
Two of the new products are powered by Apple’s powerhouse M1 chip. It features an eight-core CPU and is by far the highest-performance CPU Apple has built so far and represents a “system on chip” design. The M1 is featured in the new 24-inch iMac, as well as the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
The new Apple TV features a brand-new Siri remote, numerous apps and Apple device integration. And AirTags are an accessory connected to Apple’s Find My network, which helps people locate lost items, such as keys and handbags, using their iPhones.
