Dillon arrested for armed robbery, seeks bail

According to Lloydminster RCMP, three people robbed a Lloydminster hotel at gunpoint at 1:19 p.m. on March 29. Police say they fled in one of the victim’s vehicles. Wuttunee was denied bail last month and remains in custody. He appears in court again on May 11. Dillon has a show cause hearing on May 10 in Lloydminster Provincial Court. Whitstone hasn’t been arrested yet. Whitstone is described as a 5-foot-6 Indigenous man, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Whitstone s whereabouts is unknown. Airdrie RCMP seek details on youths believed connected to armed robberies

  CALGARY Police are looking for information from the public to help them identify two youths they say are involved in a series of armed robberies where victims were targeted for their cell phones. Airdrie RCMP has drawn a connection between a male youth and a female youth and three incidents occurring during the month of April. In the first incident, at 5:15 p.m. on April 23, two males at a park in the community approached a male youth, police say. The victim was threatened with a weapon and robbed of his cell phone. The second incident, which took place at about 3 p.m. the next day, police say two males approached another male youth at another park in Airdrie. He was also threatened with a weapon, but his cell phone was not stolen.

Lloydminster RCMP target street level organized crime, arrest 40 in round up

“The Lloydminster RCMP will continue to target those involved in gang activity in and around our community,” said Inspector Lee Brachmann, Officer in charge of the Lloydminster RCMP. “Our intelligence led approach allows us to put additional emphasis on street level gangs, which have been identified as a policing priority for our city.” The operation involved RCMP K Division Air Services, Lloydminster RCMP general duty members, Lloydminster RCMP General Investigations Section, Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, Police Dog Services, Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (EADCRU), and Saskatchewan F Division RCMP Crime Reduction Team. On April 21, Eastern Alberta District CRU members stopped a vehicle in Lloydminster and determined the driver was suspended from driving. During the investigation, police located a loaded firearm as well as brass knuckles in the vehicle. The driver was under a court ordered firearms prohibition at the time.
