We’re heading into collegee graduation season but, as you can see from some federal data, not every university is awarding diplomas at the same level.
The U.S. Department of Education’s scorecard ranks colleges and universities based on graduation rates. The rate is determined by the proportion of entering students that graduated from the school within eight year of entry, regardless of their status of full-time or part-time.

Students at Auburn University and Auburn University at Montgomery, or AUM, will not see an increase in tuition for the first time in at least 30 years.
Kelli Shomaker, Auburn’s vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer, said the fall 2021 tuition freeze was recommended as many parents and students are facing ongoing financial hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the university received a significant increase in state appropriations for fiscal year 2022.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A new partnership will give more Montgomery Public Schools teachers and support staff an opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The school district is partnering with Auburn University at Montgomery. Through this, AUM will hold a vaccination clinic at the Wellness Center on April 9. About 600 doses of the Pfizer vaccine are reserved specifically for MPS employees.

Following the return of students to classrooms, the Montgomery Public School district announced a second vaccination clinic for its staff. In partnership with Auburn University Montgomery, 600 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be provided to MPS employees during a Friday clinic. We are very thankful to AUM for helping us offer our employees another opportunity to be vaccinated, Superintendent Ann Roy Moore said in a news release. We take health and safety seriously, and it is important to us to provide our teachers and support staff access to the COVID vaccine.
