VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. Police in Virginia Beach are investigating two deadly crashes that happened hours apart on Tuesday night.
The Virginia Beach Police Department said the first crash happened in the 400 block of Princess Anne Road just after 7 p.m. Two people were taken to the hospital, but one of them, an adult woman, succumbed to her injuries. The other patient reportedly has serious injuries.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - One person has died and another was left with serious injuries following a crash on Princess Anne Road Tuesday evening.
Virginia Beach Police are currently on the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Princess Anne Road.
Two people were taken to local hospitals for treatment for their injuries, which were said to be serious.
Police say one of the victims, a woman, has died from her injuries.
Princess Anne Road will be closed between Fitztown Road and Back Bay Landing Road for several hours.
