Warrant arrest
Belleville Police were called to a north end business regarding a male wanted on Belleville Police warrants Feb. 7 at 3:20 p.m. Officers located the male and successfully arrested him on the outstanding assault, fail to comply with undertaking, and fail to attend for fingerprints charges. As a result, 37-year-old Brent Gerard from Tweed was held for a bail hearing on Feb. 8.

Theft
Belleville Police were called to a business in the east end after a female suspect left the business with a bag full of unpaid merchandise Feb. 7 at 6:20 p.m. Police located and arrested the 59-year-old Belleville resident for Theft Under $5000. After all merchandise was returned, the female was released unconditionally and trespassed from the business.

A YOUNG driver is afraid to climb into her car after she was left crying and shaking when another driver tailgated her for more than 40 minutes.
The 20-year-old Ipswich woman was followed from lane to lane after she left a Brisbane suburb about 10.30pm on Sunday night.
Despite taking unusual detours to try and lose the other driver, the woman was left shaken as they stalked her through petrol stations, shopping centre carparks and backstreets.
Passing through Oxley on the Ipswich Motorway as she drove home, the woman noticed a black ute with a silver tray and P Plate tailgating her.
