On Tuesday, Twitter suspended Kangana Ranaut s account. The microblogging website s spokesperson said it was due to repeated violations of Twitter rules. The events succeeded with designers Anand Bhushan and Rimzim Dadu s decision to cut off their association with the actor.
This is the result of Kangana s alleged comments made after a sweeping win by TMC in West Bengal s assembly elections, which was followed by political violence in the state, which was condemned as hate speech by the designer.

The Indian film industry has been urged to boycott Kangana Ranaut for her frequent use of hate speech, for the longest time. This seems to be changing, particularly now that the controversial actress has been permanently suspended from Twitter for her latest episode of hate speech.
Kangana Ranaut was permanently suspended from Twitter on Tuesday after she called for genocide in West Bengal. Kangana Ranaut will no longer be able to return to the network in the future. Though Kangana asserted that she has other outlets on which to express her opinions, her supporters pleaded with Twitter to restore her account. Kangana’s disgraceful dismissal from Twitter wasn’t her only setback. Soon after Kangana received word of her permanent suspension from Twitter, at least two famous fashion designers in India’s entertainment industry declared that they would never work with her again.

But Ranaut’s manager considers their boycott a way of gaining ‘mileage’ and has threatened to sue them for using the star’s images illegally to promote their brand.

“In view of certain events today, we have taken a decision to remove all collaboration images with Kangana Ranaut from our social media channels. We also pledge never to be associated with her in any capacity in the future. We as a brand do not support hate speech,” tweeted designer Bhushan.
