In a shocking incident coming from Andhra Pradesh, a businessman lost Rs 5 lakh to termites. His money was kept in a trunk, which later turned into pieces of scrap and large holes on the bundles of Rs 500 and 200 were found.
According to the India Today report, the incident happened with Bijli Jamalayya, a resident of Milavaram. He is in shock after his earnings were chatted by termites. Jamalayya trades in pigs business and he carries out cash transactions in this profession. Instead of keeping his money in the bank, he kept it in the trunk at home.

This morning, officials of the Andhra Pradesh police arrived at Gajuwaka near TDP Party office where the leader was holding a strike and forcefully lifted the leader and shifted him to KIMS hospital in Gajuwaka. State government trying to break my hunger strike, but I ll continue it in hospital , the TDP leader said.
Supporters of TDP had gathered outside the police station and were heard shouting Jai Palla slogans in support o the leader.

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], February 11 (ANI): Andhra PradeshPolice arrested a man who allegedly set four vehicles ablaze in Poranki village of Krishna district on Tuesday. The accused identified as M Phani Durga Prasad, 26, has some psychological problems due to the separation of his parents at his young age, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Y Srinivasa Reddy said on Thursday. Three motorcycles and one car were set on fire on February 9 at 3.30 am. The police arrested the accused after checking CCTV footage of the area. During the investigation, the accused told police that he has committed the crime in a drunken condition, police said.
