Final season premiere of Pose kicks off

Washington [US], April 30 (ANI): Kicking off the return of red carpet live events, FX and 20th Television launched the third and final season of Pose on Thursday night with a red carpet premiere in New York.
According to Variety, the event was held indoors at with sRose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The socially-distanced, 200-foot carpet included clear plastic barriers between photographers. Reporters conducting interviews were spaced about six feet apart. Talent and reporters were kept four feet apart. The carpet itself was light blue and flecked parkles.
Those who walked the carpet were Pose stars Mj Rodriguez, Billy Porter, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar, Dyllon Burnside, Angel Bismark Curiel, Sandra Bernhard, Jason Rodriguez and Angelica Ross. Series co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals were also in attendance as were Season 3 guest stars Jeremy Pope, Jeremy McC

Pose, the indefatigable antagonist that never fails to make its leaden presence or its villainous indifference known to the series trans and/or queer characters of color. The Manhattan, New York–set drama debuted in 2018 by handing an HIV-positive diagnosis to its protagonist, Blanca (Mj Rodriguez), who was hardly the first among her late- 80s ball-culture milieu to be given an impending death sentence by a doctor. But for Blanca, time was also a spur, propelling her to found her own chosen family by establishing the House of Evangelista and taking in several street kids in need of a home and some maternal support. Time was determined to take everything from Blanca, but she was just as resolved to leave behind a legacy.

He said the New York-based show on the underground ballroom dance scene represents one of his proudest accomplishments because it boasts the biggest LGBTQ cast in history.
“‘Pose’ to me was a very personal show, for one, because when I started off in my career in 1997, 98, I was not even allowed to have a single gay character because the networks were so afraid of that at the time,” Murphy said.
Since that time, Murphy has created award-winning television series that include “Glee,” “American Horror Story,” and “Hollywood” But it’s “Pose” that stands out.
“I’m very proud of the legacy of the show, which in many ways is more important than the show itself, I think. But I love it. It’s one of the things that I’m the most proud that I’ve ever done,” Murphy said.
