Leeds assistant fire chief dies in 3-vehicle crash in Livermore Falls
Mitchell Adams was driving a motorcycle south on Park Street/Route 133 when it was hit from behind by an SUV and pushed into a stopped car in front of it.

LIVERMORE FALLS The assistant fire chief of the Leeds Fire Department, Mitchell “Mitch” Adams, died Sunday in a three-vehicle crash in the 600 block of Park Street.
Adams, 56, was riding his motorcycle along Park Street, also known as Route 133, south toward Wayne at about 5:30 p.m. when he approached a stopped vehicle driven by Marcus Couch, 30, of Rumford in the roadway, Livemore Falls police officer Troy Reed.
Multiple agencies were called to the scene of a crash involving two cars and a motorcycle in Livermore Falls Sunday. Emergency dispatchers with the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened along Park Street sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sign up for our Newsletters A spokeswoman for Maine State Police said reconstructionists from the agency are helping in the investigation. Officials have not released any information about.
