Shoe Manufacturing company
Crocs has announced to give away 50,000 free pair of its shoes to Healthcare workers starting Monday, May 10. Here’s how you can snap up a pair.
Healthcare workers have been on the frontline ever since the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020.
As the world still continues to fight the pandemic, Crocs will be giving away 10,000 pair of its shoes to nurses and other health care workers.
The free crocs will be distributed for five days until May 14 in honour of National Nurses week. Here’s how you can sign up.
Crocs are the Marmite shoe of the modern world. Easily the most divisive pair of footwear, these shoes have been dividing the nation since their release in 2002. Although some see them as the height of dazzling fashion, others see them as garish, tacky and kitsch. As one Facebook user so eloquently puts it: “The little holes are where your dignity seeps out.” Rude.
Despite this slander, the iconic shoe is making a comeback, and it’s here to stay. With the likes of Post Malone, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande rocking the croc, the days of people laughing at this practical yet stylish shoe are gone.

Crocs is once again stepping up to help healthcare workers during the pandemic.
The shoe manufacturer announced that this week, healthcare workers can sign up on the Crocs website to receive a free pair of the shoes.
“In 2020, Crocs donated over 860,000 free pairs of shoes to healthcare workers on the frontlines of COVID-19,” the company says on its website. “Now, just one year later, there’s no better way to say thank you than by doing it all over again.”
The shoes, made from a rubber-like molded polymer resin, are a popular choice for healthcare workers. Last year, the shoe manufacturer had one of its most successful years ever, reaching record sales.
