Aeolus poaches new portfolio manager from Lancashire

Bermuda-based Aeolus Capital Management (Aeolus) has appointed a new portfolio manager, with the aim of enhancing Aeolus’ service to its reinsurance trading partners.
Andy Richardson will be appointed as a portfolio manager at Aeolus subject to Bermuda Immigration approval and after fulfilling his obligations with Lancashire Insurance Company (Lancashire), where he is currently head of property treaty. Prior to joining Lancashire, Richardson was a broker at Guy Carpenter where he worked in the United Kingdom, Japan, China and New York.
Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Bernstein, CEO and managing partner at Aeolus said: “We are excited to have Andy join the team at Aeolus.
