Marlowe Completes £10M Acquisition Of WPL
Wastewater treatment and compliance services provider WPL has been acquired by specialist services company Marlowe for an enterprise value of £10M. Marlowe is the UK leader in specialist services that ensure safety and regulatory compliance for its clients.
WPL, based in Waterlooville, UK, will join the Environmental Engineering Division that forms part of Marlowe’s grouping of water and air industry companies with collective annual sales in excess of £100M and over 1,200 employees. The group brings together other well-established and respected companies including WCS Services, Guardian Water, B&V Chemicals, Clearwater and Atana.
Alex Dacre, chief executive of Marlowe, said: “The acquisition of WPL marks another significant step in the development of our strategy for water and air compliance services.

RIYADH Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP), chaired by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, signed two memorandums of cooperation (MoC) with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), represented by the Philanthropy Secretary General Princess Lamia Bint Majed and SDRPY’s Supervisor Ambassador Mohammed Bin Saeed Al Jaber.
The first agreement is in collaboration with UN-Habitat, represented by the Program’s Executive Director, Maimunah Mohd Sharif, to launch the ‘Adequate Housing Project’. The second agreement is in collaboration with Education for Employment (EFE), represented by its Executive Officer And

Just take a look at the emerging designer’s Instagram account, where you’ll find a smorgasbord of visual goodies most notable are Mangru’s recognisable handmade corsets in a fizzy colour palette of fire-engine red, zingy neon green and candyfloss pink.
“I have always been obsessed with undergarments being worn on the outside,” the young designer says of his passion for classic silhouettes. “I love the way they’re tight to the body and I love creating shapes that may not be there normally. On a deeper level, I also love the idea that the corset was always seen as a symbol of oppression and I wanted to take it out of its original context by mixing new techniques and fabrics.”
