DANBURY A new event will kick off this Saturday, when the first Arts Block Street Market happens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be vendors on the sidewalk in the 500 block of Main Street, across from the Old Courthouse and in front of The Arts Place, Rocky’s Coffee & Ice Cream and Artist’s Way Creations.
The market will happen again on the second and fourth Saturday of the month: on April 24, May 8 and May 22. The events are scheduled rain or shine.
“The Stokes County Arts Council is happy to welcome people back to events as We ‘ReStart The Arts,’ encouraging locals and visitors to shop local supporting the small businesses of local artist and business owners,” says Tory Mabe, Stokes County’s Tourism director.
