Jamaican Woman Fatally Shot While Attending Church

A woman has been fatally shot while worshipping inside a church in Jamaica
It’s alleged a gunman entered the Agape Christian Fellowship on Sunday January 31, and fired shots at Andrea Lowe-Garwood.
The 51 year old bank manager died at the scene, where the worship service was being streamed on the internet.
Three people have been taken into custody by police in connection with the murder.
Authorities also are said to have seized a vehicle believed to have been used to escape the crime.
The attack occurred as video of the service was streaming live on Facebook.

Church leaders are expressing shock and outrage at Sunday’s brutal murder of 50-year-old bank executive Andrea Lowe-Garwood inside the Agape Christian Fellowship Church in Falmouth, Trelawny, with at least one suggesting that it may be time for leaders to consider implementing some form of security at places of worship to prevent such attacks in the future.
