Thanks to a proliferating number of streaming networks, TV shows aren t exactly in short supply these days. But amid the flashy new thrillers and slow-burn sagas, it can be comforting to return to the old stalwarts: network sitcoms and dramas.

The show premiered on June 1, 1967, and the King made an appearance at its debut, bidding Ann-Margret good luck, and gifting her a guitar-shaped flower arrangement - something that he would continue doing for the rest of his life.

Elvis Presley famously loved Christmas. His ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, spoke fondly of the festive periods she spent with the King of Rock n Roll during their first years together. In interviews long after Elvis had died, Priscilla explained it was “really beautiful” around Graceland during the festive seasons. She explained: “It was already joyous, such a happy time.
