CASA to host 3rd Annual Toy Drive
Atlantic Area Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc. (also known as CASA), is currently hosting their 3rd Annual CASA Toy Drive. Each donation will be given the children advocated by CASA Volunteers.
The non-profit organization, established back in 1999, advocates for abused and neglected children that have been placed in foster care through juvenile court proceedings in six counties, including Liberty, Long and Tattnall.
From now through Dec. 11, community members and businesses can donate toys and gift cards to the CASA office, located at 1113 East Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville. All toys must be new and unwrapped and gift cards must be at a minimum of twenty dollars. For more information call 912-876-3816 or head over to www.atlanticareacasa.

Christmas Village at Cannonsburgh Village light displays will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday nights (5:30-8:30 p.m.) through Sunday, Dec. 20 at 312 S. Front St. in Murfreesboro. Admission is free. Visitors will remain in their vehicles to view the light displays.
Murfreesboro Art League Exhibit of membersâ works of art in the City Hall Rotunda at 111 W. Vine St. will be open through Jan. 7.
16th Annual Toy and Coat Drive For Children is being held through Tuesday, Dec. 15. Coats, toys, nonperishable foods and cash donations (used to purchase coats) can be dropped off at Cash Express, 909 NW Broad St. in Murfreesboro.

WOW! What an amazing year for our 11th Annual Toy Drive! Even though we weren’t able to do a day-of broadcast and donation day, you all still rose to the occasion and gave! Thanks to you,
$42,540 worth of toys and donations was raised for families in need in our community!
