CHICAGO A federal warrant has been issued for a man suspected in the shooting death of 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams, the girl fatally shot in a McDonald s drive-thru on the city s West Side. Devontay Anderson, 21, one of the men accused of opening fire on the car, is believed to have fled the state.
Jaslyn , who lived in Oak Park with her mother, and her 29-year-old father, Jontae Adams were waiting in the drive-thru lane of McDonalds, 3200 W. Roosevelt Road, on April 18. Surveillance video showed a 2017 Audi 88 pull up behind Adams 2003 Infiniti. Two men got out of the Audi and began firing dozens of rounds into Adams car, according to the newly unsealed federal charges.

MURRIETA, CA A 21-year-old woman suspected of furnishing fentanyl to a man in Murrieta who subsequently had to be revived with Narcan after he took the alleged narcotic is in jail waiting to see what formal charges might be filed against her.
Ezabella Avila of Riverside was arrested Monday night and booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale, and furnishing narcotics resulting in great bodily injury the latter of which could see an additional three to six years in prison if the charge is filed and she s convicted.

A 50-year-old woman from Alberta, Canada has passed away after receiving the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine. The chief medical officer of health in the province confirmed that a rare blood clot resulted in the patient s death.

On Tuesday, May 4, the province s chief medical officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw stated the reason why the woman died after accepting a jab from the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company.
Hinshaw said that the death was linked to vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT). At the time of writing, it was the first death recorded in the province in connection with the vaccine, CBC reported.
