They may have played different positions (Esposito a forward and Orr a defenseman) but these might be the first two names that come to mind when you think of the Boston Bruins. They were the two most dominant offensive players of their era as they combined to win seven consecutive scoring titles between 1968 and 1975. In five of those seasons they finished first and second in the scoring race. They finished first and third in one of the others. The Bruins won two Stanley Cups during their time together, while Orr remains one of the most game-changing players in league history for the way he helped revolutionize the defense position. He was a consistent 100-point threat and scoring champion contender as a defenseman, something that was and still is almost unheard of in the NHL.

Mets Getting Off Plane in Colorado on Thursday Night
The New York Mets (5-3) were snowed out on Friday in Colorado , their seventh postponement in the season’s first sixteen days. The Mets, having won three games in a row against the Phillies and four of their last five, will try again on Saturday to take on Bud Black’s Colorado Rockies (3-10) in a modified three-game weekend set. The teams will attempt to play a straight doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
It’s hard to know if and how the games will played, as the weather in Denver is forecast to remain difficult, especially on Saturday. While Saturday will be dry, the game time temperature for the first game will be in the 30s, dropping into the low 20s during scheduled game two. Sunday should be a nicer day, with sunshine and highs in the mid-50s.

This week we will take a look at how Vancouver will deal with COVID, top trade candidates for the upcoming deadline, and Jack Campbell’s impact since joining the Leafs.
What will happen with Vancouver, considering how COVID has impacted their team?
There are many things to think about when wondering how COVID will affect the Canucks for the rest of the season.
Will they finish the season? Will they be able to move contracts out and be sellers at the deadline if teams receiving players will be out longer than normal? Will they cut their season short by a few games if the NHL deems the games meaningless?
