Police have increased their patrols around Bromley in response to multiple reports of men approaching children, including a potential abduction attempt.
On Friday, police were alerted after an incident in The Glades shopping centre where two males were reported to be walking behind a girl, and tried to grab her hand before walking off.
It follows an incident on Wednesday when a male student says he was followed in the street by a man, the child reported it to staff at his school.
Last week, the force was alerted after a man in a black van asked an 11-year-old boy if he wanted a lift.

She said her son was left “shaken up” by the incident.
Her post continued: “This is real and very serious, we have reported to the police but please keep your kids close and talk to them about these dangers.”
On Tuesday, Ms Blackman posted that a full investigation has been launched, adding: “The power of social media! Sometimes it can work for good!”
Superintendent Andy Brittain, from the South Area BCU, which covers the Bromley borough, said the police’s initial response was “not sufficient”.
He added: “The matter was reviewed and detectives are carrying out further investigation which remains ongoing. CCTV of the area is currently being reviewed to identify any possible suspects.
Appeal following attempted abduction in Beckenham

Officers are investigating an incident in which two males are alleged to have pursued a young boy in Beckenham.
Police were called at 16:40hrs on Friday, 30 April. The victim, aged 11, was walking home from school in Whitmore Road, when he was believed to have been approached by a man in a small black van who asked him if he wanted a lift.
It was reported that as the victim ran away into a park, he was chased by two men.
The victim spotted two other males in a tennis court area and ran to them to inform them that he was being followed.
