Multi-Agency Human Trafficking Operation Results in the Arrest of Two Suspected Pimps and Trafficker.
ANDERSON, Calif. – Anderson police said they made arrests on Saturday after they conducted an operation utilizing known prostitution websites to set up meetups so that they could bust pimps and sex traffickers at a local hotel.
Anderson Police said they asked other law enforcement agencies to assist in the operation targeting human sex traffickers with a focus on providing resources to suspected victims. Saturday at 5:00 p.m. the investigators saw two females arrive at the hotel for what they say was “the purpose of prostitution.”

ANDERSON, Ind. Anderson police are investigating a bank robbery on the city’s north side.
Police said a man entered the PNC Bank in the 1900 block of North Broadway Thursday morning and approached tellers with a plastic bag.
Police said the man demanded money from the tellers but did not display a weapon.
Witnesses described the man as being in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a dark colored hoodie, sunglasses, a surgical mask, dark colored pants and gloves.

San Francisco pimp wanted by Anderson Police arrested in Sacramento
A man accused of pimping and pandering a minor and an adult was arrested in Sacramento County, according to the Anderson Police Department.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A man accused of pimping and pandering a minor and an adult was arrested in Sacramento County, according to the Anderson Police Department.
A Shasta County judge ordered a felony warrant for 23-year-old Anyaso Copeland of San Francisco on Jan. 26 for pimping and pandering a minor as well as pimping and pandering an adult.
Copeland has been connected to a prior undercover investigation where 21-year-old Keeviuana Reed, was determined to have tried to encourage a teenager to have sex, according to police. Reed was arrested and charged with child endangerment, pimping and pandering to a minor.

ANDERSON, Calif. - Anderson Police officers are asking for help from the community in identifying who vandalized the Anderson River Park back in April 2020.
Someone drove onto the soccer field causing damage to the field and the sprinkler system. Detective Steve Grashoff with the Anderson Police Department said there has been over $12,000 in damage.
“We would still love to have if anyone has any further information or any further tips or anything like that,” said Grashoff. “Mainly that was put out to see if the suspect would come forward.”
Anderson Police Investigating The Death Of A Woman Found Lying In The Road
ANDERSON, Ind. Anderson Police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old Anderson woman, after she was found injured and unresponsive Thursday morning.
Anderson Police Maj. Joel Sandefur says officers were called to the 2200 block of West 16th Street around 2 a.m. Thursday for an unresponsive woman lying in the street.
The woman died at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released, but police believe she may have been hit by a car.
