ANDERSON, Calif. - A man was arrested when a traffic stop revealed he was on felony probation for a drug offense and appeared to have recent drug use, Anderson Police Department said.
28-year-old Michael Webb was stopped by Anderson police Monday evening near North Street and Oak Street for multiple vehicle code violations.
Officers searched Webb and found 13 grams of fentanyl before being transported to the Anderson Police Department for a Driving Under the Influence exam.

ANDERSON, Calif. – According to the Anderson Police Department, on Friday evening officers responded to the Valero Gas Station on the 2100 block of North Street to respond to a report of a stabbing incident.
The first call about the incident came in at 6:08 p.m., according to police.
When officers arrived at the gas station they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds in his torso. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of the stab wounds.

The Anderson Police Department conducted a sweep of illegal encampments along Anderson Creek and arrested three people.

ANDERSON, Calif. - Several homeless encampments were shut down by the Anderson Police Department Problem-Oriented Policing Team, Anderson police said.
The sweep of illegal encampments was along the Anderson Creek and Barney Street area.
Police said they found a large amount of trash near the creek.
63-year-old Bret Frye, 67-year-old Nancy Yearry and 50-year-old Kevin Smith were all arrested during the sweep.
Yearry and Frye were arrested on misdemeanor arrest warrants and illegal camping. Smith was arrested for a felony warrant, illegal camping and possession of methamphetamine.
