A DuBois man accused of striking a couple on a motorcycle pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence during plea and sentencing court Monday.
According to GANT News, 22-year-old Paul Lenze was driving a vehicle following the couple on State park Road in Pine Township on July 10 when they slowed for a turn on Anderson Creek Road. The affidavit of probable cause says Lenze failed to slow down and struck the cycle on the right side, traveled over the cycle, left the roadway, and hit a tree.

The City of Nelson’s council voted in favour of a two per cent rise for water and a 1.5 per cent hike for sewer adding up to a $17.10 increase overall for the year for the average Nelson homeowner but only for residential rates.

Jan. 27 If you are tempted to complain about recent moisture, you might want to reconsider. According to the Oklahoma Forestry Service (OFS), damaging and life threatening wildland fire episodes are possible through April as 2021 is set up to present above average fire occurrence during late dormant season.
