Neighbors concerned following daytime stabbing in Elmwood Village
Police said the stabbing appears to be random.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Elmwood Village is known for it s walkability. A couple that moved to the neighborhood two weeks ago, went on a walk Wednesday afternoon to get coffee and sandwiches.
They were near Elmwood and West Ferry at about 2 p.m. when a man walked towards them.
âThe guy just said yo and stabbed my boyfriend in the stomach,â the girlfriend said.
The couple wishes to remain anonymous while police investigate.
The victim s girlfriend said there was no confrontation, or signs the man was violent as he walked towards them.

Gas stove explodes in Clinton, 1 woman airlifted to hospital
A woman was injured after a gas stove exploded inside a home on Anderson Place in Clinton Tuesday afternoon.

CLINTON, N.Y. – A woman was injured after a gas stove exploded inside a home on Anderson Place in Clinton Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the scene around 2:15 p.m.
The woman was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
Assistant Fire Chief Bob Burns said the kitchen at the back of the home was severely damaged, and the blast blew out the bottom of the back wall.
