The updated CPS student tracker shows 180 students in the district currently in quarantine and 19 active student cases.
To break the student cases down:Â
Elementary schools: 120 quarantined, 10 positive cases, 11 out of 21 schools affected
Middle schools: 38 quarantined, 5 positive case, 7 out of 7 schools affected
High schools: 20 quarantined, 4 positive cases, 3 out of 4 schools affected
Other: 2 quarantined, n/a positive cases
The district has seen 2,572 quarantined student cases and 605 positive student cases since June 2020.Â
The updated CPS staff tracker also shows 16 staff members currently in quarantine and 5 active staff cases. 4 staff members are out due to EFMLA laws.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
As mass vaccination clinics continue throughout Missouri, thousands of eligible people are still waiting to receive the vaccine. However, reports have surfaced that some clinics are ending up with extra doses and allowing anyone to get the shot.
In a news conference last week, Gov. Mike Parson said the goal is to make sure only those who are eligible to get the vaccine are getting the shot even if doses are left at the end.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Johnson & Johnson started shipping its coronavirus vaccine across the U.S on Monday, just two days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave emergency use authorization.
The company said it plans to roll out 3.9 million doses initially to state and local governments, federal distribution sites and select pharmacies. The company hopes to have doses delivered as early as Tuesday morning.
In Mid-Missouri, local health organizations including the Columbia/Boone County Health Department, Cole County Health Department, Audrain County Health Department and MU Health Care are patiently waiting to hear when J&J vaccine doses will be available.
