–Paso Robles local publisher and credentialed teacher Raymond Mullikin, recently released the third issue Raytoons Cartoon Avenue, a comic book magazine that features comics made by kids.
“Thirteen out of these thirty kids who have comics published in the Raytoons Cartoon Avenue are from San Luis Obispo County,” said Mullikin. “When I was a kid, I remember that there were places available for kids to have their creations printed and published. A few years ago, I discovered that these places no longer exist. I wanted to have a place for kids to be able to showcase their comic stories for other kids to read.”

NEW ORLEANS – A second trucking company that was scammed during a wide-ranging conspiracy to stage traffic accidents has filed a federal racketeering lawsuit against several defendants, including the King Law Firm and manager-attorney Jason Giles.
C.R. England Inc., a Utah-based trucking company, filed the federal lawsuit in the Eastern District of Louisiana over an Oct. 13, 2015, accident that led to criminal indictments being filed against Louisiana residents Anthony Robinson, Audrey Harris, Jerry Schaffer and Keishira Robinson, all of whom are listed as defendants in the civil lawsuit.
Also named as a defendant was Damian K. Labeaud, who was previously indicted for his role as a “slammer” in the staging of accidents.

NEW ORLEANS A prominent New Orleans law firm and one of its lead attorneys have been hit with a federal racketeering lawsuit in connection with a series of truck accidents that authorities say were staged to rip off insurance companies through bogus medical claims and fraudulent lawsuits.
The King Firm, LLC and attorney Jason Giles were sued Tuesday along with six defendants who previously pleaded guilty in a massive investigation that so far has led to 15 guilty pleas following a string of indictments against 33 individuals.
A MUM from Dursley has said that in spite of the struggles of home educating, she backs plans to keep schools closed until it is safe to return. Many parents are currently struggling with the pressures of home schooling and had been gearing up for schools to reopen after the February half term. But yesterday (Wednesday) Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that it would not be possible for children to return to education in February. Dursley town councillor and mum-of-one, Danae Savvidou, said: “I trust teachers to care for my child five days a week and I trust them now when they advise that reopening schools is unsafe.”
