A large police search was carried out on Thursday evening, after the assault was reported. The victim is being supported by specialist officers, Dyfed Powys Police said. Local residents were thanked for reporting significant sightings and leads, which helped police track down the suspect. DI Adam Cann said:“Following a large police presence and search in the Lampeter area last night a 45-year-old male was this morning arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault. “Specialist officers are supporting the victim at this time. “Dedicated detectives are dealing with the suspect in custody. “We would like to thank the public for their support and understanding as the search was conducted, with significant sightings and leads helping officers locate the suspect in a timely manner.”

A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Lampeter.
Local residents were thanked for reporting significant sightings and leads which helped police track down the suspect.

“We’ve sold 80 or 90 at least,” he said.
In addition, some people who remembered Alivia handed him donations even if they didn’t want to order a T-shirt.
“She would be happy,” said Moylan. “I think she’s smiling down on us.”
The shirts are selling for $15 each and all proceeds, which amount to $9 for each shirt, will go to the Guardians of Freedom Memorial.
They can be ordered at the Whitestown American Legion Post, 110 Main St., Whitesboro, but the cut-off date is Saturday, April 24, to ensure the T-shirts will be ready by the one-year anniversary of Alivia’s death. A balloon launch in her memory is planned for Sunday, May 23, at the Whitesboro Middle School, according to her father.
