1. TASMAN KEITH - TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
On January 1, Australian prime minister Scott ScoMo Morrison marked the new year by changing the words of the national anthem from we are young and free to we are one and free . He did so to appreciate the timeless spirit of the ancient land we call home, and the connection to this place of Indigenous peoples who have cared for our country for thousands of years . But if Australians were truly one and free , the incarceration rate of Indigenous Australians would not be 10 times that of non-Indigenous Australians. If Australians were truly one and free , the white man suspected of killing Aboriginal children in the New South Wales town of Bowraville in the 1990s would probably not still be walking free. Indigenous rapper Tasman Keith, who was born in Bowraville, tackles such subjects on his debut mixtape, by showing his confidence to racists/bigots , in his words. LISTEN >

Last Christmas by Wham! reaches No 1 for first time after 36 years Ben Beaumont-Thomas
Wham!’s Last Christmas has reached No 1 in the UK singles chart for the first time, 36 years after it was first released.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest Christmas songs of all time, it was originally held off the top spot in 1984 by Band Aid’s charity single Do They Know It’s Christmas?
Last Christmas spent five weeks at No 2 that year, and was a Top 10 hit in 1985 too. With the advent of downloads and streaming meaning that any song could re-enter the charts, it reappeared in 2007, reaching No 14. It has reached the Top 40 nearly every year since, going Top 3 the last four years.

Boy George does a great version of Church Of The Poison Mind live where he mashes it up with I’m your man.
“A man must be excessively stupid, as well as uncharitable, who believes that there is no virtue but on his own side, and that there are not men as honest as himself who may differ from him in political principles”.

Asian Dub Foundation and Stewart Leeâs new single âCominâ Over Hereâ is still in race to be Brexit Number One.
A campaign was launched earlier this month (December 12) in a bid to get the song to Number One when the Brexit transition period ends, with 100% of the band’s share of sales going to frontline refugee and migrant support groups.
