AIIB to finance Wasa’s two mega projects

LAHORE:Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has agreed to finance Wasa’s two mega projects. This was revealed by Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Syed Zahid Aziz here on Monday after an online meeting with the delegation of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank at Wasa head office. Director P&D Abu Bakar Imran and Director Construction Zeeshan Bilal were also present on the occasion.
He said during the meeting, two mega projects of Wasa i.e. Surface Water Treatment Plant and Larix Colony Project were discussed and plans were made to complete the projects as soon as possible. Representatives of AIIB participated in the meeting from Beijing and discussed the pace of these projects in the meeting, he said.
