This is regarding the story “Be unique, be you!” by Linta Mustafa (YW, May 15). The story was nice as it suggested that our focus should be on one thing and that is not to be the jack-of-all-trades, rather we should master something that is particularly important to us. Usually, we try to be good in everything that others do and forget that we may be good at something else. This is where we need to bring change and appreciate our qualities and abilities. Yasir Khalil, Avoid backbiting This is with reference to the article “Avoid backbiting” by Aroosha Salahuddin (YW, May 8). The writer highlighted one of the common ill practices that need to be avoided at all costs. People who backbite are oblivious of the fact that they are only harming themselves in the act.
