Green party makes gains in East Suffolk Council by-election – area that includes planned Sizewell nuclear station The Green Party has taken one of two seats up for grabs in the Aldeburgh and Leiston ward in Thursday’s East Suffolk Council by-election – and came within two votes of winning the other.
