Amy Ellen
This Life. We asked her the BIG questions . . .
After sharing the stage with Emma Langford at All in This Together in Dublin venue Whelan s and opening for Fields in 2019, she released her debut single,
My Heart, in late 2019.
This Life is Amy’s fourth single, leading up to an EP release later this year.
Tell us three things about yourself?
Ellen is actually my middle name not my surname! I have a BA (Honours) degree in Commercial Modern Music. Red is not my natural hair colour.
How would you describe your music?
I would describe my music as a mix between indie-folk and pop/rock. My songs are harmony driven and emotionally charged but well balanced in terms of the positive energy that comes from the instrumentation.
