WATERFORD Police are on the lookout for a man and a woman who fled their vehicle Wednesday morning after an attempted burglary, leaving the woman’s 11-year-old daughter behind in the vehicle.

Oxford County Deputies are seeking suspects Bruce Gammon, 41, and Bridgette (Downs) Clough, 33, both of Bethel, who ran off from their gold-colored Chrysler 300, which was left in a sand pit, Oxford County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy James Urquhart said.
Deputies were called to a camp at Bisbee Town Road for a reported burglary in process by the camp owner, who arrived to find the Chrysler 300 parked at the camp. The owner observed a male in his 40s attempting to remove a catalytic converter from a vehicle on the property.

WATERFORD, Maine Oxford officials continue to search for a man and woman from Bethel after they fled the scene of an alleged burglary in Waterford on Wednesday.
According to Oxford County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy James Urquhart, officials responded to a camp near Bisbee Town Road where the camp owner saw a man in his 40s attempting to remove a catalytic converter from a car on the property.
According to police, the owner confronted the man and called the police, but the man fled on foot into the woods.

The Maine State Police and Oxford County Sheriff’s Office were working together Tuesday to find 16-year-old Mackenzie Zitoli of Roxbury.
Police said Zitoli is possibly with Tyler Streeter, 26, who is from New York.

Police said Zitoli was last seen at the Irving Circle K store in Bethel at about 10 p.m. Monday.
Police believe the pair are traveling in a black 2008 Ford Focus, with a broken rear window, green rims and a license plate that reads KKG9112.
