All adults over the age of 18 will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in Ontario by the last week of May as the immunization campaign picks up speed amid a flood of new supply.
Forty per cent of adults in the province are expected to have at least one dose by this weekend, earlier than predicted, and government officials say the province should be ahead of its target of vaccinating most eligible adults by the end of June. Provincial officials are also working on plans to begin vaccinating children over 12, when that is approved.
