A number of ANC branches are up in arms over the way nominations of councillor candidates have been conducted, with some marching to the provincial ANC office in Qonce on Wednesday to voice their dissatisfaction. The past two days have seen DispatchLIVE (http://www.dispatchlive.co.za) inundated with calls from residents and ANC members from across the party’s branches calling for an extension of the elections.
